Let's Celebrate

June 2, 2022

My new website launch on The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Weekend!

Welcome to my new website after a few years of change in my life and in the world.  I have the opportunity to adapt and update "Garlands of Grace" in new ways with new ideas.

"Garlands of Grace" has always been seasonal, natural, creative and a blessing to many.  I hope and pray it will continue to do so using God's beauty in creation and God's word.  I have been working on the website throughout May and there are more changes to come.

The launch coincides with her Majesty the Queen's official birthday and  The Platinum Jubilee Weekend!!

A double reason to celebrate!!   God bless the Queen  - Let's celebrate in style!!

It was a very special time in my life when Garlands of Grace was formed and developed, epitomising the English Country Style in the beauty of flowers and interiors. Designing flowers for the most beautiful weddings, colour co-ordinating rooms and houses plus teaching both in colleges, churches, halls and barns. It was exciting, fun and beautiful helping to fulfil dreams and bless people.

It is like coming home to a "Little bit of Heaven on Earth" as I was on community for nearly two years many years ago. Recently I joined a photography course which was such a blessing confirming my ideas and thoughts. It was a blissful time of good weather to pray and see the beauty of nature. Taking photos in the woods, through the countryside and on the beach. Looking at the finest detail to the biggest view - the sheer wonder of God's creation. This photo is natural, nothing added or taken away. I just caught the perfect moment! amazing and so beautiful!

As a child I sat on the soft warm grass making daisy chains with bees buzzing around, collected fluffy pink cherry blossom to make perfume from the most beautiful tree whose branches tapped my window in a breeze. I remember running carefree across the Common with a sea of buttercups and cow parsley around me and collecting many different grasses and I knew them all by name. A precious childhood that introduced me to nature and the seasons in all their glory.
